Dave Trier is a seasoned executive focused on helping CIOs, CTOs and AI leaders at Fortune 1000 and Global 2000 companies realize the value of AI faster, with less waste and risk. Through ModelOp’s industry-leading Enterprise AI Command Center, enterprises are able to quickly establish an AI system of record for unifying AI assets, powering workflows and generating operational intelligence.
As CEO of ModelOp, he leads the company with a focus on customer value, product innovation, and enterprise execution. A builder at heart, he combines deep technical expertise with practical operating experience to help the world’s most demanding enterprises unlock AI’s transformational potential by industrializing AI delivery—rapidly, safely, and profitably.
With more than 20 years of experience across data science, artificial intelligence, analytics, cloud, and enterprise software, Dave is recognized for his pragmatic and transparent leadership style. A named inventor on multiple patents, he works closely with CIOs, CTOs, and AI leaders to address the strategic, operational, and governance challenges of enterprise AI adoption.
Prior to becoming CEO, Dave served as Senior Vice President of Product at ModelOp, where he played a foundational role in shaping the company’s product vision and strategy. Working directly with enterprise customers, he helped develop solutions that address the operational, delivery, and governance requirements of AI initiatives, with a focus on measurable business outcomes.
Before joining ModelOp, Dave held senior leadership positions across software, consulting, and technology organizations. As Vice President of Advanced Analytics Services at Think Big Analytics, later acquired by Teradata, he led a 400-person organization across the Americas. Earlier, he served as Chief Technology Officer at Powered by Action and as a manager at Accenture Technology Labs, the R&D division of Accenture, where he helped leading enterprises adopt emerging technologies to drive business transformation, including early business process automation capabilities that laid the foundation for modern AI operations.
Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
