Sunita Krishnamurthy

Sunita Krishnamurthy is the executive who has done it: deployed artificial intelligence at a scale that moves markets, shapes regulatory precedent, and redefines how trillion-dollar institutions think about risk. As Chief AI Officer at a Global Fortune 50 financial services firm, she led AI transformation across 14 business units managing $2.4 trillion in assets, pioneering responsible AI deployment frameworks now referenced by regulators on three continents. She currently serves as board adviser to three major central banks on the intersection of AI risk and Central Bank Digital Currency development.

Sunita brings to the speaker platform something rare in the AI governance conversation: the perspective of someone who has negotiated with regulators, presented to sovereign boards, and signed off on AI systems operating in environments where the consequences of failure are systemic. Active across the United States, Asia Pacific, and European financial sectors, she holds an MBA from The Wharton School and an undergraduate degree in applied mathematics from IIT Bombay.
